Through original poetry, evocative imagery, and intimate soundbites, it weaves together a meditation on melanin, identity, and self-definition — celebrating what has too often been diminished or overlooked.
In 1939 Mamie Clark set four dolls in front of Black children and asked them which one was good, which one was bad, and which one looked like them. You watch what they answered. Then four dolls are set in front of you — and none of them are white.

A web-based walk through women’s testimony — dark-skinned and light-skinned alike. Each story is followed by a mirror room to reflect, with meditation and art reflection along the way. You enter the question; you leave having met your own answer.
